GYG is fired up to announce our official partnership with UniSport Australia, stepping in as the Official Refuel Partner for their 2025 Nationals!
The tournament is running from Saturday 27 September to Friday 3 October, and is set to be HUGE. We’re talking 7,500 university student athletes, coaches and staff from 42 universities across Australia, all battling it out for the title of national champions in one of 32 different sports! The event, held across 25+ venues around the Gold Coast, will welcome thousands of spectators.
As the Fast Food Athletes Say Yes To, GYG are proud to fuel the future of Aussie sport. To keep our student legends powered all week long, all accredited participants, volunteers, and staff members will be able to redeem free extra protein upgrades on orders at our 15 GYG Gold Coast restaurants. All they have to do is show their UniSport Nationals pass.
And there’s more – GYG is the inaugural naming rights partner for the brand new Match of the Day (MOTD) series! This series is a game-changer, setting the energy with a marquee showdown every day and placing the spotlight on high-profile matches or final series throughout the week to create an unforgettable experience for everyone. GYG will also be catering for GYG MOTD athletes post-game, making sure they get the fuel they need to recover like champs.

Keep your eyes peeled as we paint UniSport Nationals yellow with our field signage and awesome GYG merch for spectators at all five MOTD events – whether it’s field, court, or poolside! All GYG Match of the Day action will be broadcasted live via UniSport TV, so friends and family back home can tune in from anywhere in the world.
