Heathwood, What an Opening!

Heathwood, what an opening! A massive thank you to everyone who showed up to celebrate the launch of our brand-new Guzman y Gomez restaurant. 

The Heathwood community truly showed up! With school holidays, the restaurant was buzzing with local families treating the kids to $5 Burritos and Bowls. The Mariachi band kept the vibes going from morning right through to dinner, and our first guests through the doors were treated to exclusive GYG merch, including socks and water bottles. The crowd stayed late, with guests still lining up for $5 Burritos and Bowls at 10pm.   

Leading opening day were franchisees Hector and Ping working alongside their crew. Hector is a long-time GYG franchisee who also owns GYG Buranda and GYG Acacia Ridge, making Heathwood a proud addition to his growing Queensland portfolio.   

The support from the GYG network was incredible! Franchisees from right across South-East Queensland made the trip, stretching as far south as the Gold Coast and as far north as the Sunshine Coast.   

A massive thank you to our incredible GYG Heathwood crew and every guest who came out to celebrate with us. You made the day unforgettable!
