Midland, that Opening was Huge!

Midland, what an opening! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening of our brand-new Guzman y Gomez restaurant.  

This was our biggest Perth GYG openings to date, with many Midland locals so excited to have their very own GYG right on their doorstep. There was a line prior to opening, with many GYG fans eager for $5 Burritos and Bowls at GYG Midland.

Located near Midland shopping centre, GYG crew connected with retail staff and shoppers by delivering free coffee to the local businesses in the area and personally inviting them in for lunch. It was great to see them visit at lunch and even walk away with some GYG merch.

Guests loved the GYG merch that was handed out on opening day, especially the lucky few who scored our exclusive GYG skateboards!

GYG has just launched a sponsorship with Swan United, a long-standing soccer club based in Perth’s nearby Swan Valley region. It was wonderful to have their support promoting the $5 Day across social media to their member and fans.

A huge shout-out to our amazing Midland team. Your dedication, teamwork and energy made opening day one to remember! Your positivity and hard work ensured every guest had a fantastic experience.

Whether you came for a quick bite, a feed with mates or couldn’t resist the $5 day specials, we loved having you as part of the GYG Midland launch.
