Having revolutionised fast food in Australia, Guzman y Gomez could see that breakfast needed to be transformed. So in 2018 with the same relentless focus on food and guest experience Café Hola by Guzman y Gomez was launched!

If you haven’t tried breakfast at GYG then you are seriously missing out – Free Range Scrambled Egg and Bacon Burritos, Guac or Avo on Toast, Barista made 100% Arabica coffee and the most recent addition of Churro Toast (our take on delicious French toast) are just some of the menu items available.

In 2019 Joe Rahme joined as General Manager of Café Hola to take the breakfast offer to another level.

His focus has been on working with both our franchisees and corporate restaurant teams to provide our guests with a consistently high quality product, that is fast, fresh and great value. Our brekkie burrito is starting from $6.50 combined with barista made coffee at just $2 making a fast and delicious breakfast experience for well under $10.

The Café Hola concept will be rolled out to a further 20 GYG locations this year and will be available at all new restaurants.

When launching Café Hola in an established restaurant, we work side-by-side with our existing Franchisees. Together we focus on workflow, fresh product, barista training and breakfast menu development and this success is paying off.
